Inspire Futures…Support our Scholars

  • Our organization is comprised by the blood, sweat and tears of a few volunteers working to create an enjoyable environment for our local Gator Nation. We work hard and play hard, but at the end of the day, our number one priority to to help prepare and support area students achieve their dreams through an education at the University of Florida.

So, sometimes, when our days get a little chaotic and the going gets a little tough, we look to our TCGC scholars – students who are maximizing their opportunities through both their own drive and the support of their Treasure Coast Gator Community. This is why we do all that we do.

Below, you will meet Amanda – a repeat scholarship winner who never ceases to amaze us. She is currently finishing her freshman year at UF, during which she made the Dean’s List and received invitations to join two honors societies. She is involved in the Nursing Club, the Unite Party and volunteers to help learning disabled pre-school students at Newberry Elementary. Earlier this year, Amanda returned to Vero Beach to speak to students enrolled in the Exceptional Student Education program at Dodgertown Elementary. Amanda shared how she overcame dyslexia at a young age to eventually excel in school and in life.  Amanda is hailed as a role model and plans to pursue a degree in nursing.
